Log House Farm Resort

Hot weather? Checked.
Weekend? Checked.
Road trip? Checked.
Nice swimming pool? Checked.
Great time with the family? Checked.

As a child, I love our summer trips to nearby resorts and swimming pools. My siblings and I don't care if we'll get sunburned. We'll spend the whole day swimming at the beach or the pool, enjoying its cool waters. We only came up to eat. We usually have grilled meats and the easiest dish to bring on a summer outing, the Filipino favorite Adobo. Those days are one of my fondest childhood memories so I'm thrilled whenever J and I get to have similar experiences with our little Queen B just like our recent outing/family reunion at Log House Farm Resort.
When she found out we're going swimming, our little Queen B can't contain her excitement. She's a bubble of joy all throughout our hour long drive to Batangas.

Since it's the summer season, reservation is highly recommended. One of the things I observed about Log House was that they are strict with the number of guests they accept per day. This ensures that the pools are not that crowded.

The resort's parking area is located outside but you don't have to worry, because the resort offers free service for your things.

Upon arrival, you will be asked to confirm your reservation, register, and then proceed to payment.

Accommodations

Log House Farm Resort has various accommodations to choose from. For day trippers, they have picnic tables (good for 8 persons), cabanas (good for 8-15 persons depending on the size), and gazebos (good for 40-70 persons, these are perfect for company outings). For those staying overnight, they have fan rooms and air-conditioned rooms of various sizes. They also have villas and function rooms for rent. Beside each of these accommodations is grilling stations which can be used free of charge. There is also no corkage for food except during events. There are corkage fees for beverages, though.

The Pool

Log House Farm Resort's swimming pool is designed like a waterfall with three levels. Each level is of different depths. One is a wading pool for babies and toddlers. Another is a 3-feet deep pool; perfect for small children. And the last level is 4-feet in depth. This one has two slides.

Young children can play to their hearts' content at the resort's mini-playground. There is even a mini-obstacle course for them to traverse.

Our family had a terrific time at Log House Farm Resort. The kids spent the whole day at the pool, only getting out to eat and rest a bit. Even our little Queen B kept coming back to the pool. Meanwhile, we, adults had fun catching up with one another's lives. It is unfortunate that a lot of our close relatives were not able to join us due to health reasons. Nonetheless, we all had a great time. Thank you, Ate Eunice, for this treat.

Our little mermaid. She's definitely a water baby!

J and I were also able to bond while our little Queen B swims with her cousins.
So if you're looking for a new summer destination, our family highly recommends Log House Farm Resort in Batangas. Let's create wonderful memories with our loved ones this summer. Wishing everyone an inspired summer!

Yours,

Lady
